Elemental isertainly viable and a lot of fun, I will say though that you will find it mh easier to gear yourself oe you get to outland, there just isn't enoughaster mail at your level... having said that sie you won't be in melee it is probably alright to have a little leather in the mix. Your build looks strong to me, finish maxing out LO in elemental then start down the resto tree, i would rommend Totem Fus, Natures Guidae, Totem Mastery, drop a point in Imp Reiarnation then Tidal Mastery and Natures Swiftness, the final build looking like this.
Last night I swihed from Elemental to Resto and tried to do some daily quests. After about an hour of that I was thoroughly dissatisfied and dided to log off. I felt Iouldn't do well in PVP as an enhaement and PVP is definitely nessary on my PVP server but yet enhae is fun to solo with. Resto is great for instaing bause youan still pop off lightning spams when on easy fights, but it totally sks for doing quests... horribly sks. Last is Elemental Sp whh I hadn't done sie level 30 or so when I swihed to Enhaement. I didn't run instaes, but I jumped into a few battlegrounds and was very happy with the results. Even with 12 my gear still being enhaement and the other 12 lower level 70rap I have been saving just inase I needed to resp, Iompletely modified any situation I eountered. ome up against a large group fight and I would just pop off some heals to the team mates to get us even and then LB and EarthFrost Shk toael out the enemies life. I loved to death doing the 2 s lightning boltritting, getting a 60% less mana shk spell and using the 3 minool down for a guaranteedrit. Plate drop to 12 life andlothies drop to the ground. I have always done a ton of damage in Enhaement, easily able to pull aggro from prot warriors, but that isn't nessarily a good thing. I wanted a sp that would allow me to help out the group for instaing, wouldn't take forver to solo with, and allow me to bk-up heal and casionally main heal for the easier 70 instaes. ElementalResto seems to fill that roll very well. As a quk side note, oe we finished the Battleground (AV) Ihked the Damage meters and I noted at the top it wasn't a mage, lk, hunter, rogue, or DPS warrior, it was a Shaman. Ihked him out in the Armory and he was elemental. Now not only was heshe the highest, but heshe was at 215k damage while the next person (mage) was at 160k.
