Ladies and Gentlemen, From what Ian see I have never been able to time my Slams sh I land a regular hit followed shortly by the Slam damage. I have the Quartz swing timer and try to
time it as follows: -Whirlwind Axe 3.6 speed Regular hit-> 2.4 sonds pass -> selt slam -> 1.5 sond "asting" of Slam -> observe yellow damage I've triedhanging my delay between the regular hit and slam and have yet to see the white damage followed by the yellow damage. Is my understanding of Slam iorrt? Slam doesn't reset the swing timer until Slam tually hitsorrt? I apologize in advae bause I know there is information out there but Ian't get it to work properly. From what Ian tell slam does reset your swing timer, when I was useing it I would use it right after a swing hit, or unless I had to mh rage.
No, any "ast" resets the swing timer. Sie Slam is thnally aasted ability, when you start theast your swing is reset. So you have to hit the ability AFTER you swing. Also, your melee swings are always "paused" whileasting. This isn't important for warriors, but when shaman and paladins use one of their instant spells right when they swing it will pause the animation until the spell animation is done. That said, Slam is useless if it isn't fully talented. That extra sond youould be swinging, and you lose out on damage.
1: Get 22 imp slam 2: Slam right after a white hit 3: ??? 4: Profit If you use
it too late, you only lose a white hit, thus lose damage and rage (potential damage). Usual rotation would be something like White hit - slam - white hit - slam - whirlwindMS - white hit - slam - white hit - slam - whirlwindMS, and so on .
