a 7 Rogue 80 is pretty boring for me, I2009-04-28 00:00:00So I play an 80 Ret, a (now)71 Mage, and a 7 Rogue. 80 is pretty boring for me, I love leveling.. not gearing. I use her to raid but that's only a few hours a week. Mage is awesome, but NR is laggy. I like old worldontent. So I got the Emblem of Heroism BoAloak for my mage when she was in her 30's. It's insanely powerful. I have finally obtained enough Stone Keeper Shards for another item. My primaryhoes are either: Get the leatherloak for my Rogue. o...
my hunterdruidpriestwarriorpaladin?2009-04-28 00:00:00If you love leveling so mh, mind leveling my hunterdruidpriestwarriorpaladin? =D
Sigh... shadeslinker wrote:yes there is bind on count items. No one said there wasn't. There are NOT anyloaks, however, espially for the past few weeks or so (the OP said he had a BoAloak sie level 30 on his mage, whh is now 71).
I meant Shoulders, I apologize. The option basallyomes down to: Is the dagger good enough to warrant wearing aaster shoulder pie? Lkily, the first good shoulders aren't until 20+ so it wouldn't hurt until then l...
Breakfast Topic2009-04-13 00:00:00So how many of you have been playing Wrath of the Lich King with the in-game music on? I will tell you right now, if you haven't, you are missing a whole lot. The music, instead of being a low background murmur, really comes to the forefront with bold instrumentals that speak to the scenery of the zone they're in and don't hide. It feels like the composers are using more and bigger instruments too. I don't think I've heard a piano used in WoW until Wrath, at least not to the effectiveness it's used in the Drago...
Breakfast Topic2009-04-13 00:00:00There are bad bugs, and there are good bugs. Bugs like Wintergrasp crashing the continent every time someone wins? That's bad. Bugs like Death Grip giving players a psychedelic free trip around the world? That's good. Well, as good as bugs go, anyway. I know, Blizzard's developers would probably freak out at the mention of 'bugs' and 'good' in the same sentence, but there are just some fun ones that have popped up over the years.
At WoW Insider, we try to make it a point not to report on exploitable bugs th...
Breakfast topic2009-04-13 00:00:00I'm sure we've all had someone dash ahead of us when we're out gathering to take our mining node, our herb, or even our skin. It's frustrating when it's a member of the opposite faction who does this. On a PvP server, you might kill them, on a PvE server, your only recourse is a /rude. It's more annoying when it's a member of your own faction and you can't even kill them. Ultimately the same is also true of Daily Quests and some quest mobs. Whenever recourse's are scarce, b...
Breakfast Topic2009-04-13 00:00:00What a dizzying experience. A good number of our raiders recently took advantage of Blizzard's Paid Character Customization feature introduced in December last year. This resulted in a rise of our Tauren female population, more hip-grinding female orcs, and one or two more female Blood Elves. Yes, most of these players paid for their characters' gender reassignment. The odd thing is, since they were at it, anyway, none of them changed their names (the paid customization feat...
Breakfast Topic2009-04-13 00:00:00It doesn't take Mind Vision to determine that I'm really, really excited for 3.1, and of all of its features, the Ulduar raid has me enthralled the most. I love new raids, and after all this time running Naxx, I'm ready to move on to a bigger and badder place. It doesn't hurt that everything I've heard about Ulduar sounds great! 14 bosses, hard modes, optional bosses, getting launched onto the back of a giant fire-breathing robot ... I honestly can't think...
Breakfast Topic2009-04-13 00:00:00So I had a pretty lucky run in the heroics last Friday night. In particular, I ran heroic Culling of Stratholme for the first time. Not only did we handily beat the Infinite Corruptor with a few moments to spare on the timer, but I won the roll on the Bronze Drake, much to some of my more veteran group mates' chagrins.
I've been having a lot of fun with my buddy. It's pretty cool riding around the skies of Northrend and Outland on such a classic-feeling WoW mount, especially since ...
Breakfast Topic2009-04-13 00:00:00My Shaman and I have been becoming best friends lately. I've been doing about a level every other day with her, and as I said in the WRUP last Friday, my goal was to get her into Northrend to have some fun. To do that I needed to bring her to 68 and head over to my preferred starting zone, the Howling Fjord.
But when I got there I was in for a bit of a shock.
Everything wasn't dying as fast as it was in Outlands. At 67 my Shaman was plowing through mobs left and rig...
Breakfast Topic2009-04-13 00:00:00I love in-game pranks. One of the first things our Guild Master did when we downed Patchwerk was to tell the entire raid to run through the frogger slimes, telling them to hit the slime to "get their buff ". Sure enough, all the players who had never been to Naxxramas or read much about it proceeded straight through the gauntlet. The next thing we knew, there were corpses strewn all over the place and our GM proclaimed himself The Noob Killer.
